Part Is to Keep Chime in Your GM when Installing Aftermarket Stereo

car is equipped with the GM Class 2 data bus.

system sends and receives data via multiple modules throughout the vehicle
including the radio.

system also controls vital functions including the airbag and other
functions like the door chimes.

The
Retention of the factory radio in the vehicle is crucial to the proper
function of these system.

Harness will allow the relocation of the factory radio, retention of the
door chimes and facilitate the installation of an aftermarket
headunit.

Follow
the directions carefully.

actually are moving ( Relocating) the original stereo to the rear deck
/ trunk or a storage compartment and installing the new stereo in the
dash compartment.

harness will keep all the Safety features: Air Bag, warning chime, etc.
RELOCATION HARNESS - REQUIRES STOCK RADIO TO BE RELOCATED TO TRUNK OR UNDERCAR SEAT. THIS HANRNESS IS NOT A REMOVAL HARNESS IT REQUIRES THE STOCK RADIO TO BE WIRED ALONG WITH THE AFTERMARKET STEREO. (WE RECOMMEND USING THE REMOVAL HARNESS FOR A CLEAN AND QUICK INSTALL)
