Eclipse Steering Wheel Control
Product Description:
The SWI-ECL interface allows you to retain the use of your steering wheel
and/or rear seat radio controls when replacing the factory head unit in select
vehicles with an Eclipse Steering Remote Ready radio. This interface allows you
to upgrade your vehicle's stereo to a modern Eclipse radio, and keep the
convenience of using your factory steering wheel radio controls. The SWI-ECL
also retains the use of heater control buttons on GM vehicles.
Universal: Works for over 95% of the vehicles made from 1986 to current.
You can easily assign the buttons on the steering wheel to any of the
aftermarket radios available functions:
Eclipse: Volume Up, Volume Down, Mode, Track Up, Track Down

- Has failsafe non-volatile memory which memorizes up to 5 stereo functions, retaining them even if battery power is interrupted
- Great for convertibles - Unlike the SWI-X, the SWI-ECL is not affected by sunlight

Head Unit Compatibility:
Compatible with Eclipse models that are steering remote-ready (ie: have a wired remote control input) (such as: AVN50D, AVN5500, AVN6600, AVN30D, CD8445, CD8455). Most 2005+ Eclipse stereos are compatible.
If you have a head unit model that is not compatible with the SWI-ECL, please use the SWI-X instead.
